It is with regret that the Partners of Port Isaac Practice advise that they are applying to close their satellite surgeries at Delabole and Blisland at the end of March
This difficult decision, has been taken in the light of funding cuts that NHS England have imposed on all practices that provide Personal Medical Services and which, in the case of Port Isaac Practice, has resulted in a significant reduction in our funding year on year over the next 5 years, such that the practice could be unsustainable if we do not seek to make significant savings as a matter of urgency. Therefore, in addition to other enforced reductions in services, regrettably we feel we must look at satellite surgery closures.
Patients can of course, continue to be seen at our surgeries at Port Isaac, Bridge Medical Centre and St. Kew, all of which offer a range of treatment facilities. Furthermore, we would like to reassure patients that the twice weekly medication drop off at "The Glebe" will be continuing irrespective of this decision.
