Port Isaac Practice/Bridge Medical Centre:
Prescription/Administration Clerk Required
The Port Isaac Practice is a two site practice, serving a rural population in 92 square miles of North Cornwall. The main practice is in Port Isaac with a branch in Wadebridge we dispense to approximately 75% of our population.
We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic person to join our busy, friendly GP surgery. You must have excellent communication skills, a confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills, good IT knowledge and ideally with some experience of primary care.
This position is fixed term for 6 months with a view to a permanent position for 25 hours a week 10am – 3pm with the additional need for flexibility to provide some holiday and sickness cover as required.
Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Job summary: To act as a focal point of communication between the GPs, receptionist, practice manager, patients and local chemist, as well as other members of the primary health care team, to ensure patients’ repeat and acute medication is produced within the current protocols of the surgery.
